Roses in glad light
Friday, November 21, 2014
Ibra Weist, If you can see the rays through leaves behind, beams in this picture almost like bubbles, and how the rose-petals are softly translucent; a shell-like, palest peach tint. The abundant clusters of flowers here are on "Ambridge Rose", a David Austin variety, and this plant grows as a small tree-rose in my cousin's garden, near a little stairway. Discovered this photograph in my archives, memory of a gracious autumn morning. Ibra Weist
